Knowing that high blood pressure affects so many people, we believe that regular blood pressure checks are essential. That’s why we support Know Your Numbers!® Week, the UK’s largest blood pressure testing and awareness event.

2023: Make the time, ease your pressure

This year's campaign takes place from the 4th to the 10th of September, focusing on home monitoring. The easiest way to Know Your Numbers!, home monitoring puts you in the driver's seat of your blood pressure management.

Why do I need to know my numbers?

While high blood pressure can lead to serious complications like strokes and heart attacks, it often has no symptoms. High blood pressure affects many British adults, and the only way to find out more about yours is to check and monitor it. According to Blood Pressure UK:

Home monitoring benefits

Keeping track of your blood pressure at home is a quick, cheap and straightforward way to take control of your health, without the need to visit your GP, nurse or pharmacist. Get involved

From setting up blood pressure stations at work to starting family WhatsApp groups to share your numbers and offer words of encouragement, there are lots of ways to get involved. Fundraise, donate and spread the word on social media – every activity makes a difference.
